That is a fantastic logo. You are definetly thinking outside the box! You could leave life savers candy with your proposal or as a small gift when you are finished.
I don't like the logo and the client got to make to make mental leaps to appreciate it, if it was laid flat on a rickety old tiled roof and photographed maybe, or fixed to an upright post on the roof and photographed maybe, or better still fixed the the back of your van. Get rid of the name MidSouth, its souless, Joe Public want names like Alan Ladd roofer, John Wayne Roofer, or a town name roofer, I like RoofSavers, so suggest it's coupled with something like Weatherseal, Stormseal, Aquaseal, Roof Guard, lets go with Roof Guard to give us RoofGuard the RoofSaver, Almost Half-price Roof Repairs, the BUDGET name you can trust, Ring Alan for a free estimate. A gimmick dress your crew in old time waterproof LIFEBOAT coats, yellow oilskins, or buy an old lifeboat and turn it into a mobile showrooms for touring streets and busy pedestrians areas.
